Once upon a time, there was a princess who loved to play with her golden ball in the palace garden.
One day, she accidentally dropped it into a deep well. She was very sad and started to cry.
A frog appeared and offered to retrieve the ball if she would be his friend and let him eat from her plate and sleep in her bed.
The princess agreed, but after getting her ball back, she ran away and forgot her promise.
Later that evening, the frog came to the palace door. The king insisted that the princess keep her word.
Reluctantly, she let the frog stay. But when she threw him against the wall in frustration, he turned into a handsome prince!
They fell in love and lived happily ever after.
